Batise Springs
Anglers is committed to preserving wild trout fisheries in North
America. In 2004, we donated $1800 worth of permits to Trout
Unlimited chapters in Idaho and Utah to be auctioned off at chapter fund
raisers. We've very concerned about the spread of disease and organisms
across trout streams in the west. We recommend that anglers always
disinfect their wading equipment after fishing to help control the
spread of diseases and non-native organisms. It only takes one
angler to introduce Whirling Disease or New Zealand Mud Snails to a
stream!
We encourage every angler
to read the articles provided by
Trout Unlimited on threats to watersheds and fisheries. |
