A few notes we've
received from anglers:
I just wanted
to drop you a line to say thanks for the great trip. All three of us
landed fish over 22 inches, the largest being just under 27 caught on a
leech pattern. With the clarity of the water, it was amazing to watch
the fish come right up and take the fly. What a day, we hope to be back
soon!
Thanks again

It, took a bit to figure these
fish out. I tried many flies, and it was hard to tie them
when your hands are shaking! But as you can read below the
email, the Hopper with a black or dark green Copper
John worked amazingly well all day even mid day and late
into dusk. I was in the zone, 40 fish is a conservative
estimate of fish we landed, but I think I landed 40 myself!
And must of lost another good 15 large fish just trying to
figure out how to play these fish. But once I figured it out
it was like I was a pro, and after that I didn't loose many
fish. And I'm proud to say all the fish lived to fight
another day. I landed about 10 fish over 24" and this
was by far the largest of the day. Eric will for sure
return with some of our clients, and I will be back again
soon, next year latest.
Thanks again to you and Bob for
my most amazing fly fishing adventure to date, probably
forever or least until I return again~!

I am very
encouraged by what I've seen so far this summer. Last weekend I
landed a great Golden. My first. I did not even take it out of the
water. Removed the hook while the fish was underwater and he swam
away no worse for the wear.

Had a great
time fishing. I think I need to use heaver tippet. The big ones kept
breaking off. I'll probably be getting back with you after the first of
the year to come up again. I'm still thinking about getting an annual
fishing permit.
Thanks for the
great time.

Les and I
had a great time yesterday. I hooked three in the pool under the
bridge right off the bat, but didn't land any of them. Wow! Jumpers
with power.
By 6:00 PM,
we had caught enough quality fish to feel more than satisfied. My
last one was the 23" golden, taken on a dry fly.
That
Russian Olive in the bend pool has a bunch of my flies in it now!
The biggest fish were under it. Quite a few are in fish's mouths,
too. We both broke off a lot of fish on 4X.
Les and I
caught a BUNCH of fish at the tail out of the area you cleared out.
It was not uncommon for us to double up with nice rainbows and cuts.
